I've been fortunate to have worked with so many creative, intelligent and interesting people in my life. Success can be described as how happy you are to do what Is important to you each day. Design, Art and Sports have been the motivating factors that have given me inspiration and the spirit for an exciting life. I've had the best jobs in the country. I've worked with great designers, the best artists, the strongest leaders. I've had the best clients - the Big Ten Conference, Executive Sports, Physician Corporation of America, Golden Bear International, The PGA TOUR, NIU Intercollegiate Athletics, Norwegian Cruiseline, New York Boulders, Navy Seal Museum, Sunrise Theatre, Society for Marketing Advances, Denis Potvin Foundation, Dan Marino, Nathaniel Pryor Reed, Leathered Pearls, Oak Harbor and Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club.

I just wanted to thank you and your team again for all your help with planning the 4AAF Fall Leadership Conference on the Treasure Coast. We couldn't have pulled it all together as easily without all the help provided with obtaining generous sponsorships, Friday night comedy entertainment, the three speakers you lined up during our meals, the signage you had printed, the essential logo printed face masks and all the goodies provided in the conference bags. The conference was a great success in this uncertain year of 2020 and I can't thank you enough for your time and dedication to the 4th District. Go Fourth!

Walter has an incredible sense of design and color. He is professional, attentive and on inspiration! As a professor he has always been very giving and as a professional graphic designer, he is a visionary! He understands the trends and knows how to use them in an inventive manner. I have had the pleasure to work with Walter on many occasions. We worked at the University of Miami where he taught graphic design. Walter's classes were always packed with the latest information and he had the ability to reach out to students and obtain fantastic results from them. We exchanged many ideas about work. Filling the shoes of another art director is never an easy task, especially when you follow someone as talented as Walt Hines. The files Walt left behind at Executive Sports were in pristine condition which made for my transition into the position a pleasure. He was also extremely helpful in answering questions when called upon to insure I would not fail. His reputation as being creative remained In the halls of Executive Sports until my departure in October of 2000.
I found his professionalism unsurpassed only by his skills and his creative process.
Over the years Walt and I have gotten to know each other as associates. We show each other projects that we have both designed and discuss trends in our field. He has made the transition from being a print designer to becoming one of the few, true multimedia designers in South Florida. Walt, took the time to educate himself In all the Adobe software platforms on his own time after his work day was done.
Walt Hines teaches students how to think creatively and handle the pressure that is required in today's competitive communication market. As a designer and teacher, he combines his energies to inspire his students to be the best in design, typography, identity and publication design. He is an educator who will not only teach, but serve as a mentor to his students.
